The Building Consultancy team at Edward Symmons provides a full range of construction and property services including acquisition surveys, development monitoring, project management, and advice on legal and occupational issues.
The department is located in 8 offices with main offices in London City and the West End as well as regional offices in the North, West and South enabling us to cover the whole of the British Isles.
In each office, as well as their practical knowledge of construction technology, our building surveyors have experience and skills in managing projects, contracts and procurement, costings and the valuation of works, dilapidations, party wall legislation, DDA, building regulations and fire precautions. These specialisms allow us to assist clients whether they be Funders, Landlords, Tenants, Investors or Developers on many complex construction and property related issues.
The department has experience in all sectors of the property market including, offices, industrial, retail, hotel and leisure, healthcare, residential and community facilities, whether historic listed properties or modern high tech buildings.
A team approach and close links with other professionals, both external and in house, provides a comprehensive service to a wide range of banks, commercial companies, institutions and charities.
