During the evening we raised  a fantastic £700 in the Christmas raffle in aid of Cancer Research UK.  http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/

Graduate Induction Day - 4th September 2007

Despite the best endeavours of the London Underground, everyone managed to attend the Graduation Induction Day.  The venue at 60 Cannon Street provided good views of St Paul’s and surrounding area.

Nick Boyd, HR Partner welcomed the 15 new graduates from around the country.  Louisa Brown and Lisa Tippen, both APC doctors attended the day and provided useful information covering competencies, APC diary, assessments, professional development, etc.

We were also pleased to hear from Vivienne Spurge who provides in-house bespoke APC training; she covered the assessors view on handling the APC and details of future training courses.

Other speakers included Cheryl Gardner HR Manager, Lynn Macdonald Training Administrator, Ariane Herrington IT Trainer and Surveyors Richard Lawton, James Goymour and Sam Morris.
A quiz was held at the end of the day and we were pleased to see fierce competition amongst the teams.    This was followed by a drinks reception at balls brothers attended by other partners and staff from ES.
