OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Trainee Surveyor is required in our Manchester Office to undertake a 3 month paid work placement. The role will involve assisting senior surveyors within the Corporate Recovery department; fundamentally assisting with property management and agency functions in connection with Law of Property Act Receiverships, Administrations and Liquidations.
MAIN TASKS:
- Accompanied site and property inspections, preparation of site notes and measured surveys, planning and rating enquiries and market research
- All aspects of property management to include rent collection, organising remedial works, handling tenant enquiries etc.
- Preparation of sales particulars, heads of terms and managing all enquiries relating to any sales alongside an allotted caseload supervised by senior members of staff.
- Drafting valuation and marketing reports to the instructing client
- Assistance with Agency instructions
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Knowledge of valuation techniques, legislation and economic principles
- Knowledge of planning and environmental issues
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate
- Driving licence
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant Estate Management degree with RICS accreditation
